Tour and tasting
In Berlou, at the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Languedoc, Martin opens the doors of the estate to you. A morning or an afternoon to understand how our organic wines are born on schist, to walk through the vines, go down into the cellar and taste the range where it comes from. Private visits, in small groups, always led by the winemaker himself.
Our tours are given in French, English and Spanish.
What to expect
A walk through the vines
A tour of the vineyard to understand the terroir: the schist soils, the sheltered microclimate of the Rieu Berlou, the grape varieties planted (Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Vermentino, Roussanne, Viognier), pruning, soil work and organic crop protection.
The cellar visit
A look at the vat room and our winemaking techniques, plus exclusive access to a "brut de cuve" wine (straight from the vat) — one that will never reach a bottle in that form.
The guided tasting
Depending on the option you choose, a tasting of 4 wines or of the full range, guided by Martin. A chance to ask every question you have, with no judgement — here we talk about wine the way we talk about pleasure.
Our 2 options
Formule Découverte — 15 € per person
Duration: about 1 hour.
A tasting of 4 wines emblematic of the estate, guided by the winemaker.
