Le Chant des Griots

For several years, we wanted to make this wine, but one obstacle held us back: the scarcity of white grape vines. When the opportunity arose to acquire this plot of Viognier we didn’t hesitate for long!

We had just returned from a trip to Mali, where we were fortunate enough to meet "Griots"; these are storytellers who travel across the country to share their stories with different communities, which inspired the name of the cuvée! Additionally, it reminds us of our cherry trees, the "griottiers," which border the plot on the beautiful terroir above the hamlet of La Mausse.

"Le Chant des Griots" is a delicate white wine that slowly reveals its fragrance of white flowers on the nose, followed by aromas of white fruits on the palate.

Well-chilled, it can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif or paired with dishes like prawns or baked mussels. It also pairs very well with goat cheese.
