« terroir » is impossible to translate in English; it is the sum of the soil and climate, grape varieties and method of culture.

The terroir of Berlou is characterized by a microclimate, schist soil, and the vines that grows on high hillsides.

We frequently find fossils and remains from Neolithic to the Gallo Roman period.

The yield is naturally low, from 20 to 30 hectoliters by hectare, and since half of a century traditional varieties, cinsault and carignan are gobelet, and treillis system for syrah and grenache.
